I don't see how a battery size just over 41kWh can only get 180km of range. I suspect with reasonable driving, it can get well over 200km. But we will have to see real world operation to know for sure.

A solar panel is a nice idea, but that would certainly not jive well with this being budget. I do think Kandi needs to ensure a fast charger option is available ASAP. But, then again, I'm waiting for them to enter the Canadian market so I can at least buy one instead of importing it. They would need to do a direct import to avoid reimportation so we can avoid the US dollar altogether, we won't see the savings unless it goes direct from China-Canada here, we are in desperate need of cheaper EV's in the north.
